Close board fencing is, without doubt, the strongest type of wooden fencing available. It can be erected on concrete or timber mortised posts.
Arris rails are fixed to the posts by means of shaping to fit mortises. Cleats are bolted or nailed to posts, i.e. timber or concrete gravel boards are then nailed to the cleats, concrete boards are bolted to posts and feather edge is nailed to arris rails, using galvanised nails.
All timber is pressure treated. Whilst this is a very strong fence, it is also very attractive and professional looking.
